Whose line is it anyway?


  • To develop skills in visualizing page to screen.
  • To understand the value of lyrics analysis to the project as a whole.

Transforming lyrics into a moving image:
  • Read the lyrics
  • Analyse the words, what can you see when you read the line 
  • Breaking down a verse word for word to create an image
  • Stringing the images together to make a short story  
For example; the task we were given was to create a character from one line of a song (Closer-Kings of Leon). The line i was given was "Stranded in this spooky town" the first thought that came to my head was of an innocent boy walking along a non lamped street by a graveyard, shivering, just like "Thriller"- Michael Jackson.
